Haywood County covers 546 scenic square miles, including beautiful mountains, fertile valleys and rolling foothills. Portions of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pisgah National Forest, Shining Rock Wilderness Area, and 24 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway fall within its borders.
